City of Red Deer Guardian Angels - Gallery

December 8, 2007

(See News page for story) The following images were taken while patrolling the downtown area. Our patrols covered much of the downtown core with a stop at a school yard where drug activity has been reported to run rampant. A quick look around the yard ended with the signs of possible drug paraphernalia in an exit door stairway. This sort of finding could be significant if a child was to accidentally come across something left behind from drug usage. Proper training allows the Guardian Angels to deal with such findings in a safe secure manner. In the short time the Guardian Angels walked through the downtown area they also had the opportunity to be the first responders to a traffic accident which required ambulance and paramedic attention. The group has already left a positive impact on the city and with everyone's support they can make a big difference.
